question for IBCrazy: 1.3ghz video issue
Been flying my mini on 1280ghz with 200mW ReadyMadeRC Tx.
My flight has been great on 250mini within a mile. I use FrSky 2.4g for control.
But tonight did a night flight near lights and lost video (luckily found it by LED lights). Can you tell me if this is due to RF interference or noise from my mini?
Lastly, I'm using Fatshark Dominator v2 and LaserBGC 1.3g module now. I'm looking to do long-range with my DTH UHF soon. What do I need to get for longer range video (patch, directional pepperbox, etc.)?
Your videos are awesome, thank you!

This looks a lot like a damaged transmitter antenna or a damaged transmitter. What I am seeing is mostly multipath interference, but I also see some fuzz as well which usually indicates weak signal. I also see some banding which I cannot tell if it is outside interference or a lack of filtration on your DC bus. Considering your early video was over grass (not conductive) and your second was over a parking lot (highly RF conductive) I would guess this is an issue with multipathing.
The first thing to do would be to use circularly polarized antennas (if not doing so already). If you are, then it is possible the antennas are damaged or your video transmitter is damaged.
