Could be cool. I have never seen an ornithopter thats stable/smooth enough for photography...im not convinced that these are either.

The video makes no claims for duration or speed...kinda hard to reach a waypoint in a 10mph breeze when the craft only makes 5mph airspeed.

I hope my doubts are off base. Looks like a neato platform.

IIRC, there were multiple versions. with varying levels of power(two different transmissions, the best was a CVT), and some other things. So the low level $150 might be pretty low spec.

In addition I would think with how much action those wing hinges see, they would wear out in no time.

It totally looks cool but I am skeptical as others. I haven't seen any real flightvideo except for the little clips and they looked bouncy like all these kind of things seem to be........

....On the other hand, I never thought it would be possible for a micro helicopter to fly in my living room for $20, be fairly stable and have some decent control.... but I have one. . . . .so good luck to these guys.

I'd love to have one but my skepticism is about transmitting two HD videos. The bandwidth would have to be enormous or the lag due to compression/decompression would be very long. Also, I don't see how you can get stereo without separating the cameras to inter ocular spacing.

Aside from those doubts, all video, I'd really love to have one but the good flying specs are listed with the high end electronics.
