Thanks for the nice comments. I'm happy to say that I will be getting back to Scorpion this winter. Hopefully soon. Dan's excellent video is a nice inspirational piece!
I have been very distracted,as some of you know, this summer with another hobby that wasn't really planned but opportunity knocked.
It's a 1944 Ford GPW April 19 Date of Delivery. I'm the third owner since it was sold as surplus in 1948. I've been doing some minor things to keep it rolling and changing the markings on it. As I'm a big Normandy history fan, it's now depicting a Jeep from the 101st Airborne...Cliche in the jeep world but oh well....ha ha
Meanwhile, Scorpion is sitting in my office safe and sound until I begin again on her.

Tim, been there and done that. I thought the ship was more fun actually. Well I wrote a book about a lot of things that just begged to be tried. Now I hope none of you guys have to work as hard as we play.........
Railroading can be hard play......

"I think this belongs in the power boat section"
Sorry Jerry...will try and keep it on subject. Lol
I am actually looking forward to working on the rigging on Scorpion. And the sails.
