Long term customs delay
Having some issues with customs delay. I've done a number of Google searches here and elsewhere and haven't been able to come up with a solution. Most people post the 'my package is stuck' question after a week or two and end up receiving the package shortly thereafter. Does anyone have experience hunting down a package that has been delayed long term?
I ordered from the HK International warehouse in June 2013. The package's last tracking update on file with USPS is hitting the ISC New York customs office in July 2013.
I have contacted USPS, Hobbyking and US Customs by both phone and email. Each one has played pass the buck and told me to contact one of the others. I never received a letter requesting payment or documentation from Customs.
If anyone has successfully found a package after this huge of a delay, I'd appreciate any tips you have. It was only $40 worth of orangerx receivers, so I really should just drop it. But it's like a thorn or splinter that annoys me out of proportion to its size.
