That's pretty cool. Using lots of small rotors is necessitated by the need to keep
rotational inertia down, so that each motor can speed quickly, and will naturally
slow down quickly when power is reduced. If the rotors are too large then responses
will lag to the point that it'll get into uncontrollable oscillations.
But using lots of motors also increases the combined odds of any one of them failing
(if a motor has a 1 failure in 1000 hours failure rate, then using 16 motors
increases odds to 16 in 1000, or 1 in 62 hours).
I wonder if it has the extra lift capacity, and control logic to handle a single motor
failure out of 16 (I know there are hexes and octos that can do this).
