You need to clean the sensor now and then, but if you put the camera in a plastic cover you don't have to worry about that.

Now i have a question, is it possible to turn of the information on the display completely?
I want to do a live broadcast with the nex 5 but i can not turn of the information on the display, also Google wont help me out.
I'll hope someone can help me out.
as far as I know there is no "clean video out" over HDMI in this camera. There is always some OSD info on realtime picture output. The only possibility for you is to set the smallest amount of OSD info and ask a person on video broadcasting hardware to zoom in.

I wonder if someone have some advice about what lense that is the best for AP ?

Have been using the pancake lense for some time. And the 55mm that follow the cam when I bought it.

But I don't feel I got the best quality out of my pictures.

What lenses should I buy, Zeiss?

Hello , yesterday I made another test flight to test the gimbal (great performance) and test the Nex 5n with manual focus on 18-55 and settings. With nex I am not yet happy, I don't know yet the correct settings for video shooting... (with the current settings I have a little bit of jello effect) I don't have any jello with iauto and auto focus. Any comments or suggestions on the settings will be very helpful and appreciated! Do I have to change the len?

Just started flying again with my NEX 5N, using Sharpness -2, Contarst -2, Colors -2. Portrait style ISO 100 F8, 1/50 second 24FPS.
I use Première CC 2015 for post, not sure what you use yet my question is sharpening in post.
In première there is USM , what values would you suggest to start with?

Just getting the feel

I'm just starting to make videos with a NEX-6 w/Sigma 19mm (it's what I HAD) on my multirotor and it has been fun so far, but I need some advice to hone my skills for a better look ( I hesitate to say more professional look as I am so new to this). Of course I have a few questions I need to bug you all with. As I have read I wonder about some of the settings I should use and why. I'm familiar with DOF and shutter speeds and F-stop, but this reference to the "portrait" vs "landscape" setting has me wondering (I'm guessing either setting at -3 0 -3). Why would one chose on over the other for good outdoor video (I would hope for early morning clear day shots as I'm learning)? I want to do nice nature shot involving local parks and landscapes with the usual lakes, streams and woodlands or cliff formations as fall displays are around the corner.
I've set the usual 60p at 125 shutter and trying "M" to keep it around F8 or so all in AVCHD, and that brings up the second part to my question. I'm not used to the higher end software yet that I need to use, but I have these gigantic files and I'd like to show them on YouTube so I can get help but I'm not really sure how to get the file small enough and keep the quality with which software. Any suggestions??? When I convert them over to MP4 in that cheesy Moviemaker they look muddy and not near as nice as they do in raw format. Just steer my in the right direction and I'll try to keep my novice questions to a minimum.
