AR6400 6ch

Looks like the cat is out of the bag, at least on the Spektrum website. AR6400 6ch micro brick

EDIT: Due some time this April (with PZ Sukhoi), onboard brushed ESC w/upgrade path for plugin brushless ESC. VERY nice!

Extreme coolness.

Now we just need to see th separate linear micro servos to go with it...

Wow One incredible move after another. I dare say I am highly impressed (though not so much about the full DX6i recall, which affects MINE !)

Looks like HH is going for the full micro program, which is nice because it will bring costs down for micro builders, and parts are everywhere. Probably we will see a brushless speed controller for this little guy!

And here I had just told myself I was going to stick with my Plantraco stuff and not indulge in the PZ brick and a new Spektrum Tx. It's getting harder to resist. WOnder if the servos will be plug in compatible with my Plantraco servo Rx?

When and if we get to the point that we can do a brushless RTF, the technology will be there. We're not there yet, but we recognize that plenty of ultra-micro enthusiasts ARE.

Looks like bigger news is upon us! Over to the Sukhoi thread!!!

we just has to know wich channel is used for the 2 "on-board" servos:

rudder + elevedor?
aleron + elevador?
left aleron + Right aleron?

it should be so great to have the possibility to choose!

It is aleron + elevator,A lightened BA 2.5 or toki should plug into the aileron spot.

Exciting news, but it just deflates the out of the 3 AR6300 Flight Packs that I just bought!

Lesson learned: never buy ahead, regardless of the "good deal" you seem to be getting. There will always be something much better/lighter/cheaper available very soon.

That micro servo, assuming it's very similar to the servo on my Vapor, is amazing. I got a Vapor whose rudder would not move. Looked it over and saw the brick circuit board literally twisting as the servo moved, but no rudder movement. The pushrod guide had been glued to the pushrod! I've not managed to unglue that yet. But I did learn how strong the servo is.

These are exciting times in micro R/C!

Only sorry I bought several Vapors (to share with my friends without planes at our Family Fun Flys), so I won't be buying the newest, greatest stuff for some time to come.

I decribed the ports in a post somewhere... search my posts.

Brick servos are Elev and Rudd. (easier to install iff you want dual Aile servos) You can see it installed in the Sukhoi gallery.

Do we think that this is the latest Vapor brick but with extra sockets rather than the pads identified here

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=985344

or something really new?

It looks like a revision to the circuit. If you look where I've highlighted with the red boxes, there are now 3 thru-holes where on the Vapor brick there were only two. It doesn't look like an entirely different design, but just a revision of the same board.

Is this the motor connector port? If so, why 3-pin if it is a brushed motor driver? (Is there a different connector elsewhere for a brushed motor, making this the connector for an external brushless esc? Is the little black part below those 3 holes the brushed motor connector, like the plantraco micro connectors?) I assume the 4 pin socket is the x-port? (Edit: I looked up x-port since I've no experience with it, it is indeed a 4 pin connection)

It is up on Horizon: http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...odID=SPMAR6400
