Miniquads are definitly the easiest and cheapest fun you can get flying FPV:

I love your videos but you make my point perfectly. This is one I just would skip past. It is way too kinetic and not really about scenery. But it is good video though. Some of the flying in these miniquad videos is really spectacular. It is just a different genre. "Chacun a son gout" (Each to his own taste).

A lot of people here aren't just about the scenery, regardless of whether it's fixed wing or multis.
I have no trouble skipping over the videos that don't suit my tastes, and prefer one stop
shopping in a single sticky thread at the top of the forum, rather than hunting around
through several.

That said, this thread (and its predecessors) generally have discouraged stabilized A/V work,
preferring to emphasize clear FPV piloting. The forum used to be called "FPV Piloting".

KillerBEE

New products should always be crash tested, the good thing about miniquads is that you don't need to intentionally crash it.
It just happens when the trees get in the way

KillerBEE Crash Tests - don't get stinged (1 min 37 sec)

Nice vid. Just want to correct you on one thing though. I know English is not likely your first language but the past tense of Sting is 'Stung' so it should read "Don't get stung"

but the other way, if most videos are made with multi rotors, fixed wings become more and more sth special, so they get more attention than some years ago, isnt that good for them ?

btw, I am a fixed wing pilot for all my life, also filming landscapes and mountains even for television with big "gimbal motherships", just at the moment I like the fast copter stuff a little more :-)

It's a strange debate, if you don't like a video, just don't watch it and go your way...
