Ace,

So nice to see your plane back at it. I'm still amazed it was fixable.......well certainly not by me......really good work. Well Done.

Al... Not to bad to fix. Just put the rear section back in the molds and graft a new front end to it. The big task is all that bloody wiring then doing the upgrade mods. Probably easier to just build a whole new fuselage which would come out lighter due to less paint and damage repairs.

Thanks crash

While vacationing in Quartzsite AZ My friend and I decided to drive over to the Coachella warbird scale event. I took the V2 Euro with me and flew a couple of rounds. This field is at sea level so lots of lift. The Euro flew great or maybe I did? Either way I got first place in post WW2 scale. So I guess the hard work is now paying off.

Congrats +2, Ace. I'm just glad they didn't include a "Pilot Good Looks" equation in judging the Euro.

I think we are all proud of you, Ace. I'm sure this is going to be the first of many awards for your flying and building skills with these birds.

Congrats Ace !!!

Jeeze, you're winning awards like they're going out of style ! Taking first place in scale with your Pawnee a couple of months ago, and now the Typhoon is getting the recognition it deserves...very nice indeed my friend

Thanks lads, I was surprised when I won!

While casting detailed parts for the A6. I had the resin out so thought to try my hand at rotary casting of the Chute module. I span the mold in my hands like a magician doing a trick and four minutes later out popped this module. Only weighs a couple of grams and is strong enough to use. Just needs flashing cleaning up.

That's really neat, Ace. It's a lot of work spinning the mold (Know by experience), yet when it works it's a neat trick.

Leave it to the "Brits".
