Takeoffs will be fine, possibly a limbo and slalom on final approach

I may have to start buying Reno Racers now

Hi guys,
you must have forgotten about last years experimental study?
Two Albies with "retractable" upper wing where build to chase the 980mm FMS High speed birds down.

Too cold for flying planes....even though I have repaired my Alby, thanks to CCC!!!!
As such, I was trolling through some youtube and came across a channel by a guy named Kermit Weeks. Some of you may know of or already seen some of his videos. If you haven't I suggest taking a gander when you have 20-30 minutes to spare, maybe while your packs are charging .
Here is a link to his channel and a link to hime flying a DV II. His cockpit cams are pretty neat.....
Channel

Kermie Cam - Albatros D-II - New Zealand - Part 1 (17 min 22 sec)

and I also was able to get a re-maiden flight in on the 550e DFC this afternoon, just a quick test spool up in the cul-de-sac....for those of you who fly helils.....
Align 550e flies again (6 min 38 sec)

It would be nice to be that rich.

Congrats on the Heli test flight.

Hope you do strut enforcements on your Alby before you take her up again. (I know it's tempting not to)

Pole Update

First, excellent videos, eolson.....did I see you do a loop with a heli?

The new power pole is in place, and thankfully, I don't think it will be an issue....the pole, and drop are much lower than the existing lines that I am already having to dodge....

No flights yet, though....the field is still covered in that awful white stuff ....warmer weather ahead....

If RCG math is correct, this is my 1,000th post!

What better way to go, is than a period b&w pic of my biplanes....with Baron Von Busey in the Albatros leading the way....
