Yep, I got the link from John himself after seeing him use them in one of his awseome builds. Actualy there are a few J Morgan build tricks and tips in this T-38

I took these pictures at EAA Oshkosh this year. Not sure where the jets are from but the pictures show some good detail. However you finish your bird it is gonna be FANTASTIC....can't wait to see and hear it fly.

The T-38 with RA on the vertical stab is from Randolph AFB in San Antonio (about 2 miles from me) and if memory serves, the black t-38 is from Beale AFB in CA. These T-38's were used by the SR-71 pilots to get stick time.

We had a couple of T-38's or F-5's fly into our 148th Fighter Wing , here in Duluth, today. Only got to see the underside, , so how does one tell the difference? From 3-view, they look the same. BTW, they appeared to be black, a little to high to see any markings. Currently the 148th Fighter Wing are flying the F-16C's. Nice to see some new blood in the sky.

I usualy look for missle rails on the wing tips for F-5's

the later F-5's also had i bit bigger inlets ...but you might not see that from the ground ...the rails is the best way to tell.

Don't think there are any Air Force F5's still flying. If it looks like a t-38 it probably is. I think the inlet is a little different on the newer glass cockpit variant. They may all be converted to glass.

Not in air force service but Patrouille Suisse, Swiss Demoteam flies with F-5's
