I think the stock prop is 5.5", I tried a 6" but that would have needed to be trimmed a bit and couldn't be bothered balancing it, so I used a 5" prop out of laziness. I'd be interested to hear if anyone has found a good 5.5"...

This morning I used the Dawg to film a HK Skipper, here are some stills:

yes but not all models, mine I went watercooled, for the short run time it should be fine, if it gets hot i'll put a pickup somewhere on the setup. be point though it's fully waterproof so if you flip the boat you can still drive back to land.

Well just installed this ESC finally into my Swamp Dawg.

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...w_Reverse.html

Seems to work fine. I set the reverse to 100%. ONly issue I think is my prop, is of course not designed to work at 100% efficiency in reverse, but none the less, it works.
Not tried it out on the water yet, as the weather here is raining, cold and miserable.
But I think it will work well enough to get me out of trouble.
Only issue now is fitting it all in better into the tiny space that this boat has. I read a few people have dremeled out parts of the boat to fit more gear. What part did you cut out?
Anyone got photos of their work for reference? Really want to make it fit neat and tidy, maybe run a bigger battery.
Thinking of building an FPV module to hook to it. Make it water proof as possible and maybe FPV the boat around the lake!

Be really careful in reverse. It will was to force the rear of the boat into the water.

Hey I'm interested to hear if that ESC fits... I am not at all keen to put holes in the hull so it stays afloat upside down for a while, just in case..

Hi Guys, I posted a while back and I was invited back even though I don't have a "Dawg."

Anyway, here are some before and after pics:

Here is our maiden. What a hoot these boats are.

I thank you all for all the ideas that helped us along

Mike.
