It will fly just fine with the stock transmitter.

When you get your new transmitter, there is a little door on the front....CAREFULLY pop it open and you will see a bunch of dip switches. Make sure that switch 4 is up and all the rest are down.......close the cover....make sure the transmitter is off....plug in the battery to the heli...wait a few seconds (make sure the mcx2 is on a flat level surface)....find the trainer switch (flat looking long handled switch to left on the transmitter). Hold the trainer switch towards you and turn power on....wait about 2 secs and let the switch go.....after a few more seconds the lights on the heli should all come on...have fun flying.

Thanks mate. BD had already dipped the fourth switch for me but thanks for the setup information. Can't wait to try it out.

Nah, That just goes to show you how durable the little mcx2 is. They should have gotten an increase in sales for that commercial

Yeah looks like you have got the mCX2 down good and proper!

Someone gave me a 3 channel old school syma two days ago and that has been easing the withdrawels. It actually flies awesome outside but has an antenna about a metre long that can get seriously wrapped around the rotors if things go wrong. Plus you have to extend out the aerial on the radio old school style to about a metre as well lol.

They have re-released the mSR, I presume because the mSRX wasnt the game changer that they expected.

... And now they are bringing this out:

http://www.horizonhobby.com/products...ter-BLH2800#t2

Looks like it has a revised mCX2 mainframe, but the other parts seem to be normal mCX2 parts, with the exception of the brick and the canopy obviously.

The brick is a crappy 3ch

I also think the canopy looks like crap, god only knows why they painted the windows. Actually I have a good idea too, TO SAVE MONEY! 70bux for a 3ch they coulded have at least added clear windows. Fers

The only thing I am excited about are the skids, hopefully the will be a direct fit on our mCX2's

EDIT: Even HH think the 3ch is crap, cause in the picture they have a 4ch setup (pay close attention to the swashplate )
