a plumbing problem prevented finishing today, but peregrine version is nearly ready to paint. I have made what I feel are improvements over the original design. They include lengthing the nose and new motor installation . Have gone from inrunner to outrunner. Elevator cut differently to simplify linkage. Combination venting and finger grip hole added. Lighter weight elevator servos, integrated subtail, smaller battery, added carbon strip into rear of wing to prevent tearing in crashes, and simplified wing construction by adding dihedral to wingtips only.

Maidened the Peregrine yesterday. It was fairly uneventful, although there is still work to be done perfecting thrustlines. I felt the plane was underpowered so I have installed a hotter motor. I have also gone to a 3 s x 2500 battery. The plane seems to prefer a higher wing loading.

I did something today I have never done in my 12 years of flying. In the process of trimming the Peregrine I turned off the radio. You can quess what happened. These birds are the unluckiest projects I have encountered.
