Help!
Quad Wobble

Hello,

I have just built a new airframe and I want advice on sorting out a wobble on it.

The air frame is:

Arms and mounts from a Talon v2, http://tinyurl.com/cczcxpf
Centre plates from a Talon Octo, http://tinyurl.com/c3p69vy
Landing gear is http://tinyurl.com/cykzmug

The electronics is:
4 x Multistar 30a Opto ESC's http://tinyurl.com/d2nj8wm
4 x Multistar 4822-690Kv http://tinyurl.com/bmlsse7
Power distribution board, Naza M/GPS, AR8000, DX8, 2 x 4s Nanotech 2650 batteries. Props are 12x6, reasonably balanced.

I have set it up in the Naza config as a clean config in x config.

I started with the gains all on 100% and have now moved them to:
(Basic) Pitch, Roll, Yaw 150%, Vertical 100%. The Attitude Gains for Pitch and roll are both 150%.

The video below shows the flight in Altitude mode rather than manual on the above mentioned gains, please can you give me some suggestions where to go from here as my previous quad was a Gaui 330xs and a Talon v2 and for both I never needed to change the Naza settings from the default.

Quad Wobble (1 min 41 sec)

Many thanks
Duncan

this video shows perfectly the different affects of incorrect gain settings and how to tune them.

Thanks for the video, I can't figure out which of their gains are the same as the Naza ones.

I have tried replacing the props and various settings, but it still doesn't seem very good. Anybody have any other suggestions?

You have slow wobble on your quad. Try to lower I-term.

Thanks for your valuable help.

My naza manual doesn't mention I gains. Just pitch, yaw, roll and altitude in basic and attitude gain.

Which do p/I gain correspond to as they seem to be on ones used by other fc's and most of the videos I have watched?

Thanks

D
