A stroke of luck or pure genius, my first zeph build and my cg is spot on ready to fly. Nice wing chris, expect a second order in a few days lol now that ive got a feel for where to put things i can refine my next build.

Note, Ive gone to mount my prop, aeronaut folding cam 10x6. I dont have a spiner or whatever its called for the front. Ive got a prop stop, but if i fire this up itll chew up the plane. I put my graupner 10x5 on for now, where can I get a prop spinner for this guy? motor is the ritewing v2

Would my LHS have somethin?

Whis is for you the most reliable of the Down Voltage Regulators ?

Out of 4 rigs with 3 different setups, the dpcav has been rock solid. my cores get hot,,,,, my DE doesn't have the filter and i can see it a little. it's still a great link, but that one and the filter is like watching cable tv

Thanks. I set it to 12.4 volts. Exactly the same voltage as a fresh 3S pack. I fired it up and nothing went pop so I'm hoping it is good to go. I also taped over the adjustment screw to prevent accidents.

i'd make it lower so it can't dip and raise with voltage sag.... 11.5 would be better if this is powered with 3s. that way it's just at the end of a flight than through out..... you'll see shwag on the screen when its constantly shifting voltage like that....

imeive, your the ebay super finder..... that's totaly it, with a heat sink under it.... mines buried into the wing and covered.... dunno if that'd help or not in my case.....

In my opinion you are paying a lot for Heatsink this one is the same but without the Heatsink, and if you want/need you can add a Heatsink for less.
The one that I suggest only gets warm in the bench after 45 minutes converting 4S to 11.5V @ 1.3A.

I will try one..

If the down voltage regulator burns the current flow through anyway (and you have the voltage of the battery) or the circuit is interrupted ? In the second case I will lost the plane..
