Has anyone flown this on 1600mah packs? If so, how long did you set your timer?
Also, has anyone used the corona 929mgs on this? |

I found our that my son has a Contour Helmet Cam in HD. Very compact cylinder shaped video camera. Guess what will be strapped to the top of my Extra next week for flying?
I'm going simple - just some painters tape wrapped around the camera and whole fuselage since I don't want to attach it to the canopy and risk the canopy flying off. Now I just need some good weather - looks like high winds the next few days but may be able to sneak in a flight or two one morning before the winds come up. Doc |

I fly my 1800's for 4:30, HARD! Not like full throttle banking and yanking hard. But lots of ups and downs with the throttle doing rolling loops and circles as well as fast lines and slow rolls. They take back 1200 mah at the most if I really beat on it and get discharged down to 3.78 volts per cell. I use the recommended Hitec 65-MG's on mine. They are a little slow and dimwitted but so is the airplane, it being epp and all floppy and stuff. Chris G. |
