Is it the Avro Baby ?
I found this if it helps - http://www.eaa.org/bitsandpieces/art...11-02_baby.asp The section towards the bottom mentions a Baby built from original drawings at 1:1, he used the RAF 15 airfoil, (though that may not be exactly original, it could depend on just how scale you want). |

According to this page http://www.ae.illinois.edu/m-selig/ads/aircraft.html the same wing section was used on the "Republic EP-1 Model 100". According to this other page http://www.avrosys.nu/aircraft/jakt/109J9.htm the Republic EP-1 was an export version (EP = Export Pursuit) of the Seversky Republic P35 (also confirmed on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seversky_P-35 ). I am not sure about the specific model 100, but I doubt that the wing section would have been much different between versions. On the page I linked first the wing section for both the Seversky P-35 and Seversky EP-1 is given as Seversky S-3, which might be a bit easier to track down. It's the same wing section as the P-47 Thunderbolt and several other Seversky fighters, all derived from the Seversky S-3 Racer wing section.
[edit] there's a picture of the section in this thread, along with a close naca one: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...1118939&page=4 [edit 2] I am not sure how recent is this page, but it offers you a form to contact Barry Plumb, the designer and owner of the plane you are trying to reproduce: http://www.steenaero.com/biplane_lore.cfm [edit 3] Or you could try to contact him through the Light Aircraft Association http://www.lightaircraftassociation....arryPlumb.html , where he serves as Director and Chairman of LAA's Engineering Committee. My guess is that sending an email to the address engineering@laa.uk.com (from http://www.lightaircraftassociation....ontactLAA.html) is likely to come to his attention. [edit 4] or via his email address at the Manchester Metropolitan University b.plumb@mmu.ac.uk , where he is Professor Emeritus ( I imagine in Electrical Engineering) and according to this page he is currently chairman of the Military Education Committee (MEC) http://www.mmu.ac.uk/mec/ [edit 5] or through the The University of Manchester Staff Golfing Society ... nah, this is getting so easy it's no fun anymore |
