Can I plug in a 3600 mil amp battery into my tactic anylink rec with out destroying it? I just want adjust my servo throws on my super sky surfer and I am not going to use it for flight. (setup only) I will switch rec later.

If you mean plug a 2s or 3s or more Lipo directly into a receiver. No
If you mean plug a 2s or 3s or more Lipo directly into an ESC to power the receiver via the BEC. Yes.
But when doing any Rx and servo testing/setting up, REMOVE the PROP, for safety.
As a long term RC'er, I still have, and use, a 4.8v Nimh pack for setting up servos. I just unplug the ESC and plug the 4.8v pack in. Don't even need the flight pack to set up.
