Back to the future, in the receiver.
A video recording of a detector of a super regenerative receiver.
One period is visible but this process repeats each 6 micro secondes.
The average of this signal is smoothed and amplified in the audio amplifier.
The noise of the detector is visible when there's no signal received, and after the transmitter is switched on the carrier wave, pulsed with the tone pulses.
This receiver is for a variometer for the glider under test, all the same only the 6 micro seconds is normaly about 20 or 30 usec. This receiver is for a carrier wave of 200 MHz to have a signal, far away from my 27 Mhz that is used for controlling the glider.
