Fuse connectors

I have a fosa with the six pin connector glued into the fuse, is there anyway to find out what the hot and signal connections are, without taking the connection out of the fuse. Ian

Unplug the RX connectors and ring them out with an ohmmeter or continuity tester.

When I am testing those connectors on other pilots fuses I make a female MPX connector complete with all 4 signal wires + servo female connectors and plug in servos - then note on a piece of paper which one of the 4 on the fuse is an active signal pole - takes longer to make the plug than to determine the signal though

TWatsons approach is faster but I like to wiggle and basically ensure my signal to the servo is good etc so I keep a spare test plug in my kit.

I use it on my wings as well for my Xplorers since I use an MPX connector there as well but in the last 4 years I have never had a connection fail on me.

yep, just use a multimeter and stick one probe on/in a pin of the green connector and one probe in/on a servo pin until you get no resistance shown.

Here's a tip:
When you do what is suggested above, if you have the mating connector unsoldered, plug that into the fuse plug.
Its easier to hit the right pin that way on the MPX connector, and you get the "real" map of what you need to solder up to, not a mirror image.
Don't be tempted to check the pins with the plane powered up.
Unplug the leads from the Rx and do it that way.
Its the safest!
