A drive in movie theater!!! Did you go back in time to find that place?

Actually I can see that might be a good place to fly but landing may get a little tricky with all of those poles where the car speakers were mounted. I would hate to hit one of those.

Nice, Jason. Spectacular crashes. BTW-thanks for getting me started in FPV with your shopping list. Glad to see you are getting in on the fixed-wing fun, as well ;-)

Thanks Ken.

The SkySurfer is a v.1 kit from ReadyMadeRC. There's an 8 year-old Astro Flight 020 5 turn brushless spinning a 6x4 APC prop (photo shows a GWS 6x3x3 that never worked out). ESC is a Hobbywing 30amp.

More videos to come!

You're welcome for the shopping list. FPV fixed or multirotor - it's all GOOD!
Cool that we meet again in this thread.

New bixler 2:
Bigger with some improvements.
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...laps_ARF_.html
Got pre cut and hinged flaps, hinged elev and rud, larger ailerons by the looks, lower kV motor and larger 7x4 prop.

Seems to be new and not another relabelled skysurfer, still has servo's mounted like the V1 too.

Looks nice. I'm putting together a rather extensive DOSD with FY30, etc. Wonder if the larger canopy would be good? Hope they fixed the decals on this one!

If these anchors pull out after being glued in with CA, I think I will have bigger things to worry about, like buying a whole new plane... Actually put about 15 flights on this set up last week and had no issues what so ever, even a few "controlled cart-wheel" landings in tall grass proved to be no issue...
