Hi Tony. Yeah, it was sick. Just think how good the vid could have been if he got to practice with the heli using his Tx. That was only the second flight ever with it. LOL. Crazy.

I think it will be available as soon as the factory is back to work after Chinese New Year.

You can hear the Tx timer go off in the vid. It was set at 3 mins. We were using the Hyperion 500mah packs for that vid and there was 3.78v per cell left. However, we did fly the stock Eflite packs on the first test flight and got over 3 mins of 3D before the headspeed dropped. There was 3.58 per cell left at that point but it recovered to 3.7v in a few minutes. So it is pretty efficient for the power it puts out. I am sure that you can get more flight time with some mild 3D and sport flying.

I have my timer set to 3ish minutes anyhow for the mediocre 3d skills i have. So that motor is sounding better and better to me.

Only thing bad is the wait time...i might have to go buy an hp08 until they make those other motors.

When installing that motor or the HP08, do you need a different ESC? If so, which one?

You don't use a gov. I don't feel any need to govern ultra-micros but, like you said, some people do it. I've read a bunch about it over on HF with people adding a separate ESC for the governing function with the higher powered aftermarket motors. I was just answering the guy's question. People are running the HP08 fine on the stock ESC on the AS3X board, but some choose to add an external ESC for governing. Their choice.

sold me what a 450? Didn't really want one just wanted get rid of the 130x, needed cash but oh well maybe fly the 450 some then sell it really want a 500
