Hmmmm... I can't directly compare to the 71 Slick since it is the only 30cc 3DHS plane I haven't flown... but if my Velox had any more pitch authority I'd be scared to fly it.

Yeah dont know whats up. I am running 64* of elevator on both. Both are set up pretty much neutral cg. Both maxed rudder, both with 45* aileron. The velox weighs 9lbs 7ozs slick weighs 10lbs 7ozs. Both set up on 8s with around 2700watts. Both running a 19x8 prop. Velox has 7985servos at 6.7volts and the slick had that but just changed to 7954s with 8volts. Slick has the motrolfly 5320 300kv, velox has the motrolfly 4325 310kv.

I'm running the A50-12L, which is about 20g lighter than the 4325... but I can't imagine that making a huge difference. I'm pretty sure I've got less than 64* throw as well...

How does yours do in walls? Mine almost wants to flip back inverted if I pull hard in to a wall.

**edit** I just remembered I'm running crazy servos in this plane... Savox 1267MGs at 7.5V that put out 291 oz-in of torque. That could make a difference... but they are so overpowered that I think most of that goes to waste.

I would, but the last video I have of me flying was when I was flying a Hangar 9 Frenzy 100 a couple of years ago!!

WOW I cant belive that , I have a Slick and a Velox, and the Velox is wacky fun and it was so much fun, I sold my Slick and picked up another Velox!

you guys are making my decision easier.

What color blue is on the velox? I went out yesterday to do some flying with the velox and the rudder pulled out mid flight. Covering busted when it impacted the elevator

I am almost positive it is Ultracote Pearl Blue...I have a partial roll, but there is no longer a sticker on it...
