Ok so finally I have started to put the Bee bug together.
I have decided to keep all dimensions the same as the original control line version.

For power I am going to use electric (still to decide what size as I have a few to chose from) with aileron and elevator control.

Here are a couple of pictures of the start I have made.

Subscribed. I wanted to build a bee bug when I was flying control liners way back when. It will be great to see how it goes when free of tether!

Its going to be real fun to fly, my brother wants me to put a Tee Dee .049 in it like the control line version we had, I think that would just be way over board

I hope it does not act like a C/L model when free from a tether!!!! but at least give me some sort of control.

Tonight i did a little more on the wing.

I finished off the leading edge, trailing edge in front of the ailerons was installed, wing tips glued on and wing sanded.
Then I cut the ailerons out of the wing, now all I need to do is fill the ailerons leading edge with wood and sand them.

Starting to take shape but its a "as I go I modify" type build!

Here are some pictures of the progress.

I think it will bazz about in the the sky wherever it is pointed with those full span almost full trailing edge chord ailerons, slinky! Great!
