Help!
IR shutter triggered by TX

I have a large octo that carries a Nikon DSLR and just bought an IR shutter controller from hobby king (http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...n_Cameras.html). It works fine on my servo tested but I cannot get it to fire using my Turnigy 9X on the gear channel. Can someone offer some advise on what I am missing here? I have the gear assigned to channel 6 and the IR plugged into Channel 6 on the receiver.

Thanks,

Clint

Do you have enough throw on that channel to trigger the IR shutter controller?

Thanks for your response.

How do I determine the throw of an aux channel and how do I increase it on the Turnigy 9X?
