The manual is on-line at sigmfg.com. You might be able to buy plans direct from Sig.

Are you sure its a "Sig" anniversary Cub?... I know Goldberg has an Anniversary Cub(I own one)...

Sig Cubs were designated as a scale size... IE: 1/4th scale, 1/5th scale, and 1/6th scale.. I think there was a 1/3rd scale too...

There were several Cubs... The most popular being Sig kits.. with Carl Goldberg being right up there too... As mentioned above the Sig kits came in a few or more sizes.. whereas the Goldberg Cubs are only one size.. about 1/5th scale I believe.

I would buy a complete kit with plans. I am flying a 1/6 scale Sig J-3 Cub model on brushless electric power and really enjoy it's scale-like looks and flying characteristics. The old 1/6 scale kit does not include a dummy engine or instrument panel, etc. You have to make your own dummy engine and eyebrow shrouds from dowel and manila folder etc., materials.

The larger 1/5 and 1/4 scale versions do come with plastic dummy engines and look like more current kit designs with easier/quicker builds.

That was my first thought too. Then I checked and Sig does list their 1/5 scale Cub as a '1/5 Scale Anniversary'. But they don't say anniversary of what!
