TT Tow Defender conversion
Im currenlty working on a Thunder Tiger 90 size Tow Defender / Trex 700 build. The fuselage was really designed to be sealed with no access to the bird once installed. I would like to build up around the outer edges of the area behind the windsheild and install magnets on the windsheild attaching it to the body. This would allow me easy access to the battery tray. Good idea?

While it's possible, see if there is a way you can install a couple of alignment pins on the top part of the windscreen to make sure that it can't shift. You may not be able to install more than that but pure magnets alone may not prevent shifting. Another way would be to split the windscreen and hinge it at the front with pins on the top and magnets to your liking. It certainly can be done. Take care.
