Juka 28"

Ahha! Doin da toothy thing with your throttle. So, I'm not alone after all

Great flight. I'm flying the Twisted Hobbies Crack Yak along with my 40" Depron Edge. Does'nt fly as good at the DW but for a newbee, it has allowed me to get in close with no stress. I really like the micro's as I can take em with me on the road and fly anywhere. Next plane will be a 28" DW as well!

Rolling Circle, I don't think the bevel direction should matter. I too noticed the super long arm on your elevator, not sure if you are getting optimal leverage?
Did you ever fly this bird? How different is it from the 38" Skua?

DJ, I got sidetracked on some other projects. I have a Raven ready to go and will be flying it tonight. I will get try and make short video.

It's been a while since I've flown Skua so not sure I can make good comparison, but the Revo has nicer lines to it.

Just maidened my 34" Raven. This thing is totally sweet. Hovers hands off and harriers at the pace of a walk all day long. Hover catch is basically a no brainer. I even did a wing tip hover catch for the first time ever. Check out the sweet carbon all over the bottom.

If you're looking for an unbelievable backyard flier, definitely check out one of DW's 30-34" models.

I want to say thanks to Mike for all his help. Best customer service ever.

Don't know if I'll ever have fun with building/repairing. Much rather be working the sticks!

The Raven is just a little bit different of a build compared to the 40s and 48s that i'm used to with DW. But it's not hard at all. Just a few different setups like a pull pull on the rudder and usage of only 3 servos total.

This thing is LIGHT. Incredibly light. Now I know why light airplanes fly so well. You give it 1/4 to 1/2 throttle, let go with the nose up, and it almost floats magically in the air.

Wonder how different the Raven flies from other planes in the same size class. I've never had a chance to fly a Juka, Yak-54, Yak-55, or Raven in the same size

my understanding is that the Raven has the most wing area of all the pro kits allowing it to fly the slowest. This is why i went with it as I want to fly it in a somewhat tight space in the back yard. I believe the 34" Raven is supposed to be able to fly even slower than the 28" kits.

That's intriguing. Good info to have, though I'm most curious about how planes of the same size compare against each other.
