Sad but true, I have a Edge 540 qq that needed as3x out of the box, its stable mate the inzersa it. The edge was lighter, faster and had smaller wings and is a blast to fly, but your always on the sticks. So I bought a ar6335, turns out, there is no guide to tell you how to program it, there is no way to fly it with out setting it up and it does not program though the dx6i. So I wasted about 70 to fix a problem the edge had out of the box.

HH really screwed the pooch with as3x and the 280 size airplanes.

DSMX Lemon Rx wtih Stab blows it out of the water in terms of user friendliness and overall "Make-Me-Happy" feelings.
The AR 636/6336 only leads to lots of "Grrrr" feelings.
I maidened my first Lemon Stabilizer last weekend in a very twitchy scratchbuild. Going into it, I thought that if it can pass this test and calm this plane down it is an amazing product. It did just that. Flipping it on and off while flying made a huge difference. While off, I was fighting the sticks and it was jumping all over the place. Flip it on and it was as smooth and stable as a plane twice it's size. I have no experience with Spektrum stabilizers, but for $19 this lemon version has really impressed me on this plane.

I set all the pots in my Lemon Rx w/ stab at about 10 o'clock.
Plus on my Taranis, I can adjust gains from the radio.
Dial it high and the corrections are exaggerated.
Its easy to check if control surfaces are deflecting in the right direction.

I'd like a stabilizer that enables me to aim down the runway and land only using throttle input.

I still haven't gotten mine assembled. I'm hearing reports of twitchiness.
I'd like to get a comparison.
Is it twitchy compared to flying a 3D capable plane like a Sbach or Beast?
Or is it twitchy for a sail plane?
I'm accustomed to flying a BFG 2600 and a Radian Pro. Both have flaps and I can slow them down.
I don't mind if the Kunai is fast. But if its twitchy, I may want to use some expo. I'd like to get an idea before maidening. This will be my first non foam aircraft.

FIRST STEP: If this is your first non foamy, get an experienced pilot to help you!

Set it up exactly like the manual says... along with about 30% expo.

Make a CG stand and make real sure your nowhere near tail heavy.

Relax and enjoy the experience!

Hope this helps

Yep, that's about it for set-up. Both of my Kunai flew straightforward and level on the first toss. She goes where you point her, there isn't much self correcting since the wings have only a little dihedral in them, but the Kunai flies smoother than any of your other planes. Especially in wind. The Kunai slices right through.

Nah...
The Kunai is not twitchy.
She's a sail plane.
Only way she'll be twitchy is if you have the CG too far back which is nearly impossible unless you deliberately tape two ounces to the tail.
Mine needed 2 nickels at first but now has only one nickel for perfect CG.
This is one of the reasons DSD moved the elevator servo to the rear.
