Question
How many amps on 3.5 mm bullet connectors ?

Any one ever tested the bullet connectors that go between the speed control and the motor to see what size is needed for different amp ranges ? Like a 3.5 bullet is good for xxx amps , a 4 mm is good for xxx amps ect ect.........Dennis

It's in German (I think?) but you can still gather the info. Looks like:

2mm up to 25A
3.5mm up to 60A
4mm up to 80A
5mm to 150A
6mm to 250A

I think the MP Jet style bullets are accepted as better than the standard type too.

Tests (non-scientific) have shown the deans are slightly better than the XT60's.

Now that the price on the EC line of connectors has come down and more batteries are coming with them without the extra price increase I'm switching over to them. Unlike the Deans and XT60 that followed they are really easy to solder, don't melt or soften decreasing their amp rating and have the highest amp to weight ratio. And unlike the red HXT's that are also easy to solder you don't have to worry about some kid messing with your batteries when you are not looking and hooking two together damaging both batteries as well as teaching the kid a lesson in Ohm's law he'll remember for the rest of his life.
