Yeah, I was originally going to turn around and resell it but the wife said to keep it. So I oiled it up and put it back in the box. I will run it from time to time just to keep it freed up and to hear it run.

Here is a vid of my diesel delta flying. A hat cam was used, so there was no zooming. It was getting dark, so it looks dark, but you can still see something. I hope.

Diesel Delta Powered by a MK-17 Diesel Engine (6 min 23 sec)

Another one ran today. 1941 Super Cyclone on gas and oil with 14 x 6 Master Airscrew prop. I had to tighten the engine stand bolts after this,I didn't realize it was shaking like that. Nothing broke or hurt though.

Super Cyclone .60 (0 min 38 sec)

Leadchucker, the title says 70 wt oil. Where do you get 70 wt oil and what brand is it? I thought the highest wt was 50.

That Super Cyclon sounds really good and powerful!

Some Harley shops might have it,but the local one only had 60 wt. I found the 70 wt. on Amazon of all places under "Bardahl 6185 American Classic SAE 70 Motor Oil ".I bought 4 quarts and it's not cheap, but for the amount that gets used it will last till I kick the bucket.

It's really neat to be able to see and hear the antique gassers run.
