Super keen to get back into the bigger 1400 birds. Will definitely have to go 5S for that extra punch when needed. You can't rival the feeling of stability and the presence of the bigger birds.

Looks a million bucks but he still needs some new shoes for it which he is yet to buy.

Hello everybody:

Do you have any idea why there is nothing new in 1700mm for years???

I know this is for FMS models but here is what I have done with Hobbyking P-40 1700mm.

Hope you enjoy:

"This is "My P-40"
It's not a replica of anything... Is just "My P-40"

Here are some photos and a link to YouTube of a movie I did about my P-40 construction .

Hope you like."

Ricardo, that's not an FMS airplane! Careful about cross posting, moderators will disapprove.

I won't report him...that's getting real petty IMO. Not like he's cramming it down anybody throat here. Besides, wouldn't we love a big P-40 from FMS? Maybe this will inspire them....although I doubt it....980mm peanuts says they are done with big birds.

BTW, when it's non scale, we call them "Orientation Stripes"

Beavis -

It looks like only FMS could come through with a new, foam P-40 in 1700mm span as H-K is running out of breath, parts, and time on this one. It is a fine airplane, the airframe quality about equal to FMS and a good power system but H-K went lame on fixing the landing gear and spinner flaws and shot themselves in the foot with releasing it in the U.S., an unfortunate boo-boo for them on a project that needed to be groomed well because of it's size and marketing risks. There has been some talk of a v2 and it might happen but with the market as queasy as it is, it seems like a loonng shot.

Btw, Ricardo, your video is quite impressive, shows how to bring out the great qualities of this handsome fighter.
