Longer wires to Power or to Motor?
I need to make a long run to motor for a Quad copter.
I want to get my ESC off the arms.
I can lengthen the 2 power wires
Lengthen the 3 brushless motor wires
Which is best and why?
Motors pull about 10A in a hover and about 20A max
My preference is to put the ESCs at the ends to get the weight out near the tips for stability and airflow and to De-clutter the central area. Then solder on longer power wires to run the power through the arm tube to hide wires.

Length of wire from battery pack to ESC < 12”
Therefore, for any longer length of connections, increase wire from ESC to motor.

you could go the "xtra caps" routine inline to stop the "ripple effect" (the surging caused by the esc switching off and the voltage spiking... longer wire = higher spikes so longer wire needs more caps of same or higher value)
