Im new to electrics. I recently purchased a GWS fast charger to charge my 7.2v 600mAh battery for my Slow Stick. The rate of charge can be adjusted from .25-6 amps. Is it okay for me to charge my batteries at 2-3 amps? Or is this too fast? I also have some 4.8v batterries I use for my glow plane, same question for them. Thanks in advance

What is the reason I shouldnt go over 1 amp?
The faster you charge cells the hotter they will get. You can go over 1 Amp on small packs but it's a bad habit to get in to. The cell will/can over heat, vent and then destroy it self or have its life reduced.
I charge all my 4 cell Rx packs on automatic and it seldom goes over 1 amp, unless they are realy flat.
Just stick to 1 Amp and play safe for the mean time.
