Or maybe they could provide versions without the decals for people who want to model planes they've flown rather than have the same scheme as everyone else. A blank Blanik!
We had a Blanik or two at Wurtsboro but I never got around to flying one. Hmm... I can check out in a full sized ASK-21 for about $500 at Wurtsboro or I can get my own four meter Blanik for twice that and watch myself fly. Pete |

What's the possibility of making us an ultra micro Blanik to go along with the ASK-21 and/or making a quarter scale ASK-21 while you're at it?
Despite not having had much chance to fly it, (ten or so high starts in a small corner of a school athletic field one evening ) I really love the little glider but I would probably like a big one just as much. PS Gunny, the 1/3rd scale Cub lives on the workbench. No hangar rash on the 2-33 yet but I'm beginning to worry about losing track of parts and sheeting. Pete |

Question on graphics, they are decals so you can remove them if you wish Airfoil is as Craig mentioned HQ series. It's 14% down to 11 at the tip. Reason it's so thick is to prevent aero elasticity with the swept forward plan form. Wing is crazy strong for aero’s yet isn’t giving up much to thermal. I wish I lived near to a slope this would be a ideal model for Torri or similar. Most tow planes from 60cc and up will tow it fine, obviously the bigger the engine the easier it is. The tow plane in the video is a H9 Pawnee with DA 100. We will be showing the model at WRAM then Toledo show if you want to see it in person. Pete |

E-flite because a pure sailplane goes along well with the quiet flying experiece, and the only power onboard is electric. Hangar 9 is about power system choice including both electric and IC. Since this has no motor it doesn't really fit with Hangar 9. Contrary to the way some think, we want to get away from thinking that E-flite = small and Hangar 9 = big. EFL has always been "Advancing Electric Flight" in every aspect of advancement. |

You have to love the way horizon discount the model before it has ever been released..... very generous of them, if only it were true! |
