Trainer plane without engine glide?

I am wondering if it is possible to glide a trainer plane like a glider without installing the engine first.

I have a Millenium2000 trainer from OK models... got the cg right by shifting the battery and receiver.

any advice would be appreciated.

Sure it's possible, but flights will be short, except perhaps on a slope in a howling gale. I wouldn't recommend it as a form of enjoyment.

Hi

To fly a trainer as glider without engine you would have to ballast the front with the weight of the engine to get the cg right.

A shaped foam nosecone would help to.

Welcome simhatus!! Glad you posted! Newbie one if you are thinking of doing that, just get a cheap hand launch glider... Just curious, why are you planning to try this??
