Still no mention of price. As of Jan 11 they say it should be on the web site "soon".

While you guys were all dreaming of the new Airfield to arrive, I got my Dynam 182 all together and set up. The only things missing are the little pilot, and the motivation to hook up the cheesy 3mm LED's in the wing tips. It's not too bad...

Yes, very similar. I was just looking at the specs and was wondering if this plane is under-powered? (18A ESC)

The new airfield appears to come with a size 480 motor swinging a 3-blade 11x9 prop; the 30A ESC and 2200 battery are a good match for the motor but can they handle such a large prop?

Plenty of power flies really good for a smaller foam plane. It prefers light wind though.

That's good to hear. Hey, these are pretty big for foam planes . Any larger and the wings will start to flop around. I guess the wing loading is pretty low then (for the light wind)? Or maybe it is just the wing design (high lift). My 38" mustang will slice through the wind like it wasn't there.

The P-51 is a bit more streamlined and just penetrates better I would think.

The FlyZone, the Airfield, and the Dynam all appear to be somewhat different in size and features.

I have the origional 55" ws nitroplanes version. It flies extremely well, lots of power, just don't trust the servos. Replace them on arrival. Surprisingly acrobatic, even flies inverted well with down elevator applied.
