That looks good . Did you ever get your retracts working properly ?

The faulty ones went back and were replaced with a new set from HK.

To be honest I still don't have a lot of confidence in the cheap retracts , and if they are not up to the job then i'm gonna be screwed as the mountings were designed around them.

I don't think there are any other options which have a low enough profile for the wing section, but if anyone finds anything which is 24mm depth or less then please share details

Which retracts do you have / are you going to use pencon ?

I don't have any yet , which is why I was asking . I know - cheap retracts , I have a durafly vampire and so the second time now , one of the retracts stopped working . Also have a dynam meteor , none of the retracts worked , had to buy eflites . I wonder if the Freewing Eurofighter retracts would be any good ?

D_fast , I recall you saying the bigger version was actually for 100 mm fan . Do you think a 105 would be too big for the inlets ? Still deciding on a fan and eyeballing up the new HSD unit ..

the bigger version is just 2x 50mm
but the internal ducting area ruling curved it back to a 90mm.

Although im pretty sure she could breathe easily enough for a 100 or a 105
while looking at Xenon20 edf issues ,and the plans it looks like i forget to scale back the edf unit wall thickness after the increase in scale from 50mm to 90mm.

sorry about that.

No bother dude.

Can I ask if your thrust reverser slots at the rear of your fuse were functional or were they blocked off by your thrust tube?

Cheers

I think you should put a servo actuated thrust reverser inside the thrust tube so you can back up

sorry for the late response.
I have a 1/4" gap around it to let air flow through the reverser and around the thrust tube and exist out the back, to help eliminate drag

Ok cool, I will probably put the thrust tube support ring further back. Have you had a chance to paint yours yet D_Fast ? Are you going to ?
