The 3DHS Fly Low In event was a great one once again and is quickly becoming a prominent event in the aerobatics scene.
We had 26 registered pilots that travelled as far away as Northern NSW, Adelaide, Eastern Victoria and all areas in between.
It was a relaxed affair with casual flying all day.
A highlight for me was the flying late into the evening as the sun was coming down. Dead calm conditions in perfect light.
The aim of this event is to develop an enthusiastic group of aerobatic fanatics of all standards to help build a strong community of pilots in an era where we are frowned upon by some. Such an event represents positive action to shift the often unfair perception of aerobatic pilots. For the second year running we showed we can run a safe event without any issues and have a lot of fun.
Here's a little video that was done on the event that might entertain a few.
