Tamjets 90mm Midi fan

Our TJ90 is basically a shrunk down version of the TJ100. It shares all the same parts as the TJ100. The best part about our TJ90 is the very light weight, rigid carbon fiber shroud and the aluminum motor body for cooling. With all these nice features, we are able to run at high power without over heating the motor. This fan was made for guys who want to run high power and fly back to back without having heat problems. This is the most high power reliable fan unit and also very efficient.

Test Data:
Lipos: 10s
Watts: 3119
Amps: 83.1
RPM: 48076
Thrust: 8.6 lbs
Efflux Velocity: 210mph
Exhaust tube: 72mm

I would like to use this in my Freewing Euro. What kind of performance would I get from a 6S setup, 5000mah, or would it even work?

Hi Steve,
I think it would work, but it would perform waaaaaay better with 10s lipos. The kv of the motor set up for optimal power at that voltage. That said, I think that euro fighter is pretty light, correct? I imagine that this fan would put out at least 4 lbs of thrust on 6s, since it puts out 8+ lbs on 10s. Would be a great question for the EDF discussion forum.
Lemme know,
Josh
