Cool
Mini EDF's for under $20bucks!!!!!

Hobbyking may be starting to listen and are hopefully starting to release more kits. I stumbled across these new J-power line of mini EDF's for under $20 in the replacement parts section.
Awesome if you've got some spare 50-55mm gear lying around They do also have the PNP kits for $64.95

hmmmm interesting I wonder if it's just an oversight by the photographer? would be pretty silly to sell an ARF without a canopy

Photographs are correct...the picture that depicts the 'exploded' parts layout does not show any canopies.....they are awasome if you already have a plane with a functional canopy.....I need to order some of these in parts....just in case...

Making a canopy is not easy. Firstly you'll need a mould, then some way to form the plastic around your mould. Its just stupid that they sell the kits without canopies.

hey nobody said it had to look gorgeous, just a little bit of clear plastic, bottle will be fine or even run it without a canopy...the sabre and f-16 look like they'd be the hardest to do. You can also just use expand foam and fill where the canopy would normally be, sand it back to a canopy shape and simply paint it black

The Sabre looks pretty close in size to the Skyblazers one that is sold by Hobby Lobby. You could probably use Sparks canopy upgrade on it.

The plastic parts kit that Banana Hobby sells for these jets includes the canopy. It's only 6.50 plus shipping.
