The first time the rear open end was about 1" wide at the wing surface. I thought that might cause some extra drag, so I took them off and moved the balsa rear mounting blocks closer together. Squeezed the fairing sides together and re-mounted glued them to the blocks. Now the fairings are about 1/2 inch wide at the widest and I'm satisfied with them. They have endured over 50 flights without fail. |

Just the biggest all electric fly-in (in the world I think!)!!
