Here is the second test of the motor I am building for my buddy down under. This is after regluing the magnets in the rear rotor and putting some CA between the magnets in the front rotor. While this motor has a rear rotor that nutates less than my first motor, it still has some vibration at low throttle but after about 1/8 throttle it smooth’s out and runs great. I just need to get the spinners made and props drilled and it is ready to ship out. I took the MCAT today so I should have some more time to work on RC stuff. Next for my plane is figuring out how I am going to attach the cowl for easy access to the motors and speed controllers. |

Got the second motor finished up today. Here are some pictures of the motor and the runup. Sorry for the lack of work on the Spitfire, sometime in the fall all the things keeping me from working on it will have passed and I'll get started on it again.
