Suggestion Box - Lotus FPV Scavenger Hunt

Spec UAV is currently hosting an ongoing FPV Scavenger Hunt and would like to reach out to you guys for help in picking future targets for each FPV hunt. Since many of you live in varies locations around the world, we thought it best to gain some insight & suggestions from Fpv'rs themselves.

So please put your thinking cap on and share your ideas on what would make a good target for an Fpv scavenger hunt. The list below was inspired from last years Great Scavenger Hunt.

The next Hunt will also include targets for ground pounders specific targets as well. Please offer up some suggestions for Air & Ground guys. Please feel free to copy, paste and then add your suggestion to the end of the list in your reply.

A statue or monument
Four (4) legged wildlife (That is not a cat or dog)

Active (not parked) construction equipment.
10 secs of sustained inverted flight with a plane or 2 seconds with multi-rotor.
Spot an off-road recreational vehicle.
READABLE road sign to a town or tourist destination.

I like the wildlife one. Maybe a herd or flock of animals as well? Inverted one sounds cool as well as waterfall and friendly strangers . I think extreme proximity FPV would be cool.

I think it would be pretty cool to watch someone navigate a RC car/truck race track via FPV.

I like the crawler Idea too.

future hunt targets

1. Film a moving train. Bonus if it is steam powered and moving passengers.

2. Film an old steam ship or an aircraft carrier. Bonus if they are underway (moving).

3. Film a helicopter in the air. Bonus if it is a real helicopter not just RC.

4. From high above film a school of fish, dolphins, sharks, whales or other pods of sea life.

5. Film a mountain goat up on the side of a cliff. Bonus if there are more than 3 together.

Why do I feel like attempting to film an underway aircraft carrier is a TERRIBLE idea?

The rest of them are awesome ideas.

nowadays for filming real things that flies could get you into big trouble with FAA and others... let's still keep it safe while having fun.

with all the mini quad fun going on , what about fly though your own legs or bouns if though someone elses, double bouns if wearing a skirt

or let a quad freefall from a hight but regain control before hitting the floor.

another, fly around yourself wearing goggles standing on one foot and keep yourself in shoot..

Love #5. Just maybe.
First hunt ends tonight at midnight. The targets for hunt #2 still have yet to be determined, so keep those ideas coming.

Thanks

Chase a bird for a few seconds. Always fun to do. Can't stay with them too long as they are very maneuverable.
