Cool
RMRC Anaconda - Speculation and chat

*So as to not interrupt other threads this is for us all to dream and speculate on RMRC's secretive Anaconda plane that looks so cool.*

From the pics RMRC has shown that I have seen the Anaconda looks a little like a WW2 P-38 Lightning plane but with a central rear prop instead of two forward ones. Looks like landing gear out on each wing like the war plane and prob tail wheel/s (I could be wrong but with the long tail and motor position im taking an educated guess. i think its cool as. Someone will definitely convert it to a twin prop for sure.

Based on comments in other threads, it would seem that the Anaconda has the necessary clearance for a ventral (brushless) camera gimbal. I really hope so, as that is the primary selling point for me
Also keeping my fingers crossed for an optional wooden platform/pod on the nose.

Sure don't this was on their Facebook page. I saw it on there a while back and was thinking about changing it out for my Penguin. Just wish I knew an exact release date.

Nice to see an additional picture. Can anyone say what its like to fly a plane with a inverted V tail? Ive flown a Talon and found it a bit tricky.

Iam not to fond of vtail air craft . Was hoping it would be a conventional tail
But may be ok as inverted vtail

the full picture looks like a rough prototype, the 2nd clearly shows the tail to be a separate piece. So there must be some sort of connecting rod running through it.

Should be easy to fit a ply tray in there in order to have an attachment point for a belly gimbal. Or maybe a mapping cam?

Possibilities!
