Where to buy EPO/Elapor/Z-Foam

Does anyone know where I can buy EPO, Elapor, or Z-Foam?
Thank you.

Only from the manufacturers in pre molded parts.

Elapor is Multiplex's trademark foam, and I really seriously doubt you can ever get a block of it that isn't premolded into a part.

EPO is the Elapor clone, and the same goes for it- no blocks, all premolded parts.

Z-Foam is a trademark foam of Horizon Hobby, and again only comes in premolded parts

EPO is not an Elapor clone. Where do you get this stuff?

EPO is a generic term for Exapanded Polyolefins. This includes things like the stuff Crocs are made of. Elapor is a particular EPO, whose formulation is proprietary to Multiplex.

All Elapor is EPO, but not all EPO is Elapor.

Because EPO is very identical to Elapor foam, in beading, texture (sometimes) density, ect. ect. Elapor is Multiplex's very special blend of foam, and while it's similar to EPO, it's not.

If I can find one of my invoices, I'll post the seller.

As you can see its a block from a very large block.

And it looks just like the blue elapor my MicroJet was made out of, sands like elapor, feels like elapor and glues like elapor, but of course the experts say there's no such thing!!.

Well older car bumpers have epp under the plastic skin, I picked up a piece at the junk yard and made a boat out of it ( had to seal it, another story) but it seems like a higher density than I would like to build airplane parts out of kinda heavy.

No, the only explanation is;

That I only give info here on the Forum that I know to be true.
Not just taking a wild guess like a teenager would.

There is a big difference between fact and opinion! Butch

But it has research behind it, which is a more accurate guess than pulling something out of my pocket and saying so

I would think that if your going to insist on being the Forum "Know it all".
You should do your research a lot better, or better yet, limit your expert opinion to actual experiences, instead of giving out advise based on your researched guesses!

When you limit another members ability to explore this hobby, by telling them it can't be done or it doesn't exist, when in fact you really don't know, you limit there growth and rob them of the fun and excitement this hobby can offer them.
