Axe CP-L w/gyro

Just wondering if anyone has attempted (successfully) to install a Logictech 2100T on an Axe CP-L (V2). I have already installed a HiTec Electron 6 rx, an EF 20mAh esc for the main and a Cirrus S5A2 on the tail. Since I have owned this so-called RTF (bought it new), it has flown correctly once. Even after an extended under-warranty stay with HeliMax, it still exhibited a glitching problem with the stock rx/tx, as in coming up to full power as soon as the lipo was plugged in. So, I have discarded the factory rx and e-board, and have now got it to respond quite well with my old Airtronics RD 8000. However, I have to crank in about 65% of rudder trim in the radio to get the tail motor to come up to speed as the throttle stick is advanced. I have no problem adding rudder in flight, but hold a set course is somewhat difficult. Will the Logictech 2100T (that I had laying around) controll this beast without a tail servo to run through?
Thanks!
