It all looks too easy. There are more videos on Youtube showing the maiden flight of this craft. It crashes two times with only a broken prop on each crash. I'm impressed with the durability of this device.

It looks like this maybe the next great step forward in the Quad-copter development.

I still find it hard to believe that they can get this level of performance from a fixed pitch prop.

I remember a quad that used large sized tail rotors instead of propellers and was indeed capable of flips and inverted flight. the added mechanical complexity makes it less reliable, but it's still the way I'd go for an IC powered multicopter. At least it can autorotate.

The Curtiss stingray above uses large normal rotor blades for flipping / flying
