Yo Quitcher -- been a while!
I've got two I'm seriously considering selling. My original, with only a handful of flights on it so, pretty immaculate. The other is the one I bought for backup parts if needed & becuz it was flapped & retract-fitted....the one the wingtips got 'curled' on becuz the seller didn't pack adequately. I feel a good Elapor Soup treatment would straighten it back out, but it'd doubtlessly need touching up on the yellow tips.

I'm gonna have a 109, never fear -- but it's gonna be a big one, & not a foamy. With that goal in mind I could really use the extra hangar space for it, & moving those 2 should just about do it.

Anybody??

Put them on the trader and you will have no problem moving them.

Sorry, what few I have I'll want to keep as a sale enhancer. Don't have those as spares anyway so, moot.

No problem Star. I can still fly as my current adapter is not that bent and the canopy is barely cracked.

After seeing all the beautiful work here on RCG lately, I went back to the workshop and airbrushed my '109. I kept the same markings, only made it look better. I'm very pleased with the results!

The paint I used was Lowe's Valspar thinned with windshield wiper fluid (20%). I used a Vega V2000 airbrush and had no problems at all with the latex. I had the paint from a few years back when I had them do a color match on the horizontal stabilizer for me so I'd have paint to do fixes/cover ups. I never dreamed I'd be shooting it through my airbrush, but it came out great!

She came out pretty nice! The weathering on the wings is cool, well done!

Ok... I couldn't leave well enough alone. I needed to add the second color of the mottling as well as painting the spinner the right color and also add the smoke stains from the exhaust and the guns. I am much happier with this end result.
